Bio:

He graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine, Harbin Medical University, in 1991 and got his Doctor’s degree in social medicine and health care industry management in 2012. He currently works as Director of National Children’s Medical Center (Beijing), President of Beijing Children’s Hospital of Capital Medical University, Director of Beijing Pediatrics Research Institute, Director of Beijing municipal key laboratory for pediatric ENT&HN diseases, Dean of the Department of Pediatrics, Capital Medical University, Director of the Children’s Hospital Management Branch of Chinese Hospital Association, Director of the Pediatric Surgeon Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, elected director of Chinese Society of Pediatric Surgery, and Director General of Futang Pediatrics Development Research Center.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequent ENT&HN diseases and head and neck tumors. He has performed thousands of surgeries for thyroid, parotid, submaxillary gland, laryngocarcinoma, hypopharyngeal carcinoma, oral carcinoma, neck lymph dissection, and various tumors of the neck. He has long been engaged in basic and clinical research of head and neck tumors and relevant hospital management issues, and delved deep into the metastasis of laryngocarcinoma via lymph nodes, medication for head and neck tumors, and the analysis and intervention of patient complaints. He has won one national award for science and technology progress, two Beijing municipal awards for science and technology progress, and applied for two invention patents. Currently, he is in charge of more than 10 research projects of national or provincial and ministerial level with a total funding of over RMB 30 million. He has also published a number of SCI papers, over 100 CSSCI papers, and compiled or co-compiled more than 10 monographs.
