Bio:

Xie graduated from the Pediatrics Department of Capital Medical University in 1994 and has been engaged in clinical, teaching, research and management work at pediatric urological surgery at Beijing Children’s Hospital. He is also a postgraduate supervisor at Capital Medical University. He studied at St. Peter’s Hospital in Rome, Italy, and Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong, and studied public health and hospital management at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He serves as deputy director and secretary general of the Children’s Hospital Management Branch of Chinese Hospital Association, deputy director of the Medical Insurance Committee and Administration Committee of Beijing Hospital Association, executive member and deputy secretary general of the Medical Rule of Law Committee of China Behavior Law Association, executive member of the Urological Surgery Committee of the Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and member of the Pediatric Branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care. He has won titles such as “new star for science and technology” of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, model worker of Beijing health system, the 23rd Beijing May 4 medal, and the 7th Beijing model for ethnic solidarity and progress.
